The township fire department is located in the same facilities as the township offices at 7942 Wildcat Road.

Applications for joining the volunteer fire department are available at the Fire Department office or by contacting Fire Chief Don McLane at (810) 327-6089.

Meetings are held the last Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM.

Burning Permits

Burning Permits can be obtained at the township office or by calling (810) 327-6775. Additional information regarding burning & the type of burning that is authorized by the Grant Township fire ordinance can be obtained at the township offices.

Address Signs

Grant Township offers to all of its residents an address sign that will help us locate your home in case of an emergency. We recommend that everyone purchase at least one of these signs to place near the entrance to your residence.
